TERMS & CONDITIONS
Deliveries will be despatched within 3 – 5 working days of receipt of order by courier to locations within the UK.
It is illegal to sell alcohol to any person under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18 you cannot proceed with the purchase of our alcoholic beverages. Please drink responsibly.
Unfortunately due to the nature of alcohol it is subject to the duty regulations of each country. Therefore we are only able to dispatch within the UK.

When you place an order with us you are making an offer to buy goods . Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods we will email you to confirm that we accept your order and that a contract has been made between us.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake we will advise you of this. You will not receive an email confirming acceptance of your order and there will be no contract between us.
Orders can be placed by placing the products you wish to buy in your basket. Payment is then taken by PayPal.
Postage and packaging is £8.50 per order but is free for orders over £50. We aim to send all delivers within 7 working days of receiving your order. They are sent by courier to locations within the UK and must be signed for.
If the goods are lost or damaged in transit please let us know promptly via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please attach a photograph of the damage and keep hold of the packaging.
Cancellation and returns
You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after delivery. To do this please email email@example.com. If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You are responsible for the risk of loss or damage when you return goods so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights.
Goods should be returned to Slamseys Drinks Ltd, Great Slamseys, Blackley Lane, Braintree, CM77 7QW.
Faulty goods – if there is a problem with the goods please contact us. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.
Changes to these terms – these terms were last changed on 29th October 2015. These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
WORKSHOPS AND COURSES
1. Full payment is required at time of booking to reserve your place on our workshop or event
2. Slamseys Art reserves the right to cancel workshops and events or alter the content, date and time of the programme, or the teaching staff, if necessary.
3. In the event of a cancellation by Slamseys Art, we will refund your fee in full if another suitable date for the workshops or event cannot be agreed with you.
4. Cancellation of the workshop/event or event by you:
4.1. Cancellations must be made in writing.
4.2. If less than eight weeks notice is given, there will be no refunds or transfers.
4.3. Friends or family are able to attend in your place provided that Slamseys Art has received details of the names, dietary requirements and contact number and email of anyone attending in your place.
4.4. Slamseys Art must be notified of any dietary requirements or allergies at time of booking.
1. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the booking at the price quoted.
2. Full payment must be received at least 14 days in advance of the event to confirm the booking.
3. All bookings are subject to a £50 refundable conduct and damage deposit.
4. The Barley Barn is available for daytime hire between 09:00-18:00.
5. Access to the barn will be from the start of the hire time until the end of the hire time. When making a booking please account for all set up and clearing away time.
6. Bookings must be made by the full hour, minimum booking times as stated.
7. Overstay will be charged by the full hour.
8. Basic hire price is for the empty barn, any chairs and tables must be set up by the hirer and cleared away at the end of the booking.
9. All rubbish must be swept up and removed at the end of the booking.
10. Slamseys Art reserves the right to cancel bookings if necessary.
11. In the event of a cancellation by Slamseys Art, we will refund your fee in full if another suitable date cannot be agreed with you.
SLAMSEYS CARAVAN STORAGE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS for storage of a single axle caravan or approved trailer at Slamseys Farm, Blackley Lane, Great Notley, Braintree, Essex CM77 7QW
a) Fees for storage will be charged and payable by bank transfer or cash, in advance; William Wheaton has the right to alter the charge by giving due notice to the client.
b) No refund will be due if the pitch is vacated before the end of the rental period.
c) If payment is not made by the due date, W Wheaton will deactivate the security fob thus preventing vehicular access to the site and a further charge will be made to reactivate the security fob.
2 USE OF THE SITE
a) All caravans and trailers must be parked within the allocated plot with the rear offside corner (driver’s side) of the caravan parked immediately next to the numbered post.
b) All caravans, trailers and contents therein must be insured by the owner; W H Wheaton will not compensate clients for loss of contents or unlawful removal.
c) The site must be kept tidy and free from rubbish and personal belongings at all times.
d) All personal effects and valuables should be removed from the caravan or trailer.
e) Caravans must not be occupied for residential purposes whilst on the site.
f) Caravans and trailers must not be offered for sale from the site or access granted to third parties for viewing or collection.
g) No major repairs will be carried out on site.
h) Minor repairs including servicing and washing by mobile contractors, can be undertaken with W Wheaton’s prior permission. Details of the contractor must be supplied to W Wheaton.
i) All gas bottles must be switched off when the caravan is on site. If possible, they should be removed from the site.
j) In an emergency, W H Wheaton will attempt to contact the client by telephone but if they cannot be contacted, W H Wheaton has permission to move the caravan or trailer.
a) Access to Great Slamseys Farm is between the hours of 06.30 and 21.00. A charge of up to £20 per day may be made to open the security gate outside normal operating hours, which must be booked and paid for in advance.
b) The gate to the caravan storage site is automatically opened using a designated security fob. A deposit of £20 will be charged for the security fob, which will be refunded on surrender of the fob at the termination of the storage.
While W Wheaton does his utmost to provide security for caravans and trailers stored on the site, it is impossible to completely eliminate the risk of theft or damage and he cannot guarantee that a caravan or trailer stored on the site might not be damaged or stolen. Clients should therefore inspect the site to ensure they are aware of the level of security provided and make regular inspections of their caravan or trailer.
5 CONTACT DETAILS
a) Clients must provide up to date contact details, including an emergency phone number (preferably mobile) and notify W Wheaton of any changes.
b) Invoices will be sent by email or by post if no email address is given.
a) Clients who do not wish to store their caravan or trailer on site for a further rental period must give a minimum of one calendar month notice of their intention.
b) Clients cannot transfer their storage space or security fob to another person.
c) At the termination of the agreement, the client will remove their caravan or trailer from the site and ensure the pitch is left tidy and free from rubbish. Where it appears that a caravan has been abandoned on site, W H Wheaton may arrange disposal and any costs incurred will be recovered from the client.
d) If the client is in breach of these Terms and Conditions and has not complied with written notice to remedy the breach, W H Wheaton may deactivate the security fob, thus preventing vehicular access to or from the site, or demand removal of the caravan.
