Keeping our workshops green
We are taking steps to make our printmaking studio as environmentally friendly as possible.
Inks are mostly water-based or water-soluble, which means that they wash out with only soap and water, without the need for any chemicals. Our screen printing workshops only work with hand-cut stencils, to avoid the use of harsh chemicals and treatments.
Our toilet rolls and hand towels are made from recycled paper and we try to recycle wherever possible.
Our refreshments use locally sourced and seasonal ingredients when we can.
At the end of the class, you will be emailed further information about printing supplies and invited to join our printmaking Facebook group, to avoid wasting paper with unnecessary handouts.
You can help us by being mindful of the amount of paper towels you use and by utilising our recycling bins. You can also get to us via public transport or by bike (although we also have plenty of free parking on site).
