Printmaking at Slamseys
Slamseys Art is based in The Barley Barn at Slamseys.
Ruth Wheaton set up the printmaking studio and gallery space in 2014 and developed a series of printmaking workshops specialising in beginner classes for lino cut, screen printing, fabric printing and drypoint etching.
Covid restrictions necessitated the suspension of the printmaking classes and there are no immediate plans to resume them.
When Ruth returns from maternity leave, Slamseys Art plans to further develop the Slamseys Mini Screens for quick and easy, non-toxic screen printing at home. The ready to print screens are a simple way to start screen printing without any fancy equipment using pre-designed screens or screens made to your own design.
